Appreciate Trading and Enjoy Life
I talk with professionals that spend every waking hour focused on trading. I know this because I was previously that person, while this might be good for some it is not for me. Since I dreamed of being rich and getting the time for you to do what ever I wanted I actually became thinking about trading. I've a compulsive nature in the first place and I hunger for knowledge. This combination led me to work constantly, to find out more about trading. I maintained the full time job and studied trading approach at night, often until midnight simply to get right up a day later at 4:30 A.M. To visit work. Learning the areas were a day per week thing for me personally. This went on for a couple of years.
From time to time I'd personally meet other professionals and met some through the net. Over time I pointed out that some investors didn't obsess over investing the way I did. Most did but a few did not.I thought that certain day if I worked hard enough I would resemble them. The other day I met a man that changed my thinking. Through our discussions about trading I understood he began about the same time frame as myself. He did not have as much knowledge as I'd and it was obvious that his understanding of the areas wasn't as comprehensive as myself.
The curious thing was he dealt only 2 hours per day and did not work any other job. The remainder of his time spent time along with his family and he played golf. I asked him in hope he would reveal his secret trading formula with me. To my surprise he did not have a key weapon for trading areas. As an alternative he'd a secret weapon for life generally. APPRECIATE IT!! That day I realized that I had lost sight completely of my original goal which was to possess more time. I'd ran completely in the contrary direction. In place of trading clearing from the job it'd are more of a job than my actual job was. My percentage of profitable trades wasn't where I needed it to be and thought that I can examine my method to a much better percentage.
After talking with him I decided to take a break from trading and come back with a fresh perspective. When I again started to trade I just allowed myself to pay 2 hours daily on trading. I was much more comfortable and I dealt less often. That turned out to be great, my win percentage went up because I was more particular in my own deals and I wasn't stressed out about anything.
