The first time I went to Thailand was back in 1973. I was a young soldier in the Usa Army and Bangkok was my first work station. I was there for 18 months and my first meal back America was a Large Mac, fries and a Coke.

Times have changed and the Thailand countryside is dotted by fast food places. Sets from KFC to McDonalds to Pizza Hut is everywhere. They are not just in the tourist city and large cities, but exist in smaller towns like Khon Kaen and Phitsanulok.

Granted, I am a junk food junkie back in the states, but usually in Thailand, I tend to eat the neighborhood food. Actually it's Thai junk food.

I prefer to eat from the local street vendors that can have a plate ready for you personally in under 1 minute. And, it is a whole lot cheaper and nicer than the local Burger King.

But, when I am in Thailand for three or four weeks, sooner or later I give in and have to have some burgers, fried chicken, or pizza. And, for my Thai lover, it's a particular treat to eat from one of the American "restaurants."

When I head to Khon Kaen, I like to eat the new seafood at the neighborhood restaurants. Bar-B-Que prawn with veggies and rice is all I want for lunch. Some oysters and papaya salad will be got by my sweetie and all is good.

When we have been in the room and decide to stay in to view a DVD movie, she just likes to call the Pizza Company for a few chicken and pizza wings. I get the pizza and she devours the wings.

Breakfasts are generally standard cost of rice and eggs with perhaps a cash or two. Occasionally it will be Thai soup or a noodle dish like pad thai. Once in some time we like to visit a lodge run by foreigners and they have an "American" breakfast.

Lunches are treats for me. I like to possess some chicken or pork BBQ on a stick with some sticky rice. Or, if my woman is in an excellent mood, she will drive over to KFC and get some hot chicken sandwiches. And, of course, she gets me the strawberry cheesecake dessert.

We both benefit from the Khon Kaen restaurants which are around the local lake or rivers. This witty

website has a pile of wonderful suggestions for the purpose of this view. They've these little, thatched stands with good views. The food and service is very good and some have a band playing local Thai country music.

So, Thailand has got the best of both worlds. Should people desire to identify further on pizza restaurants, there are tons of online resources you can investigate. Anything can be got by you from a pizza to a hamburger, or fried rice and noodles. Pizza Places Santa Rosa Ca is a stirring online library for additional info about the meaning behind this belief. Great food and very costs. Another reason I really like Thailand.La Vera Pizza
