Want to spice up the weekend a bit but don't know what to do? Well how about throwing a dinner party with your close friends and have a casino theme! I know as we get older the going out starts to get old. Alot of people in relationships tend to just hang out at home instead of go out to a lounge or club. In my opinion there are so many movies you can watch before the movie and wine nights start getting old as well. So I have come up with a solution that both singles and couples can do!
First, decide how many guests you will like. You can get fun invitations from a party store about your dinner soiree or send electronic E-vite cards to your friends. The Internet is becoming more popular to get a hold of people. Some may check a social networking site before their own mailbox! Hehe. Inform them it will be a casino night and to dress up for fun! Dresses for the ladies and dress shirts for the men. You want to feel like you are going to the casino and you would not go in sweats or maybe some of you have but let's change up that routine a bit!
Second, decide on your meal plan. The website allrecipes.com has everything you will need to put together a nice dinner meal and appetizers for your guests. I have displayed a few in our photos to help brain storm. Have wine and mixed drinks ready for your guests. If you like, you can have a cute casino cake made of casino chips, slot machines, roulette tables, cards, etc. A local bakery that does fondant cakes should be able to assist you. You can use google search to help find a location.
Third, decide on decor for your apartment, condo or home. We have displayed a few suggestions such as the perfect "suit" bottle stoppers you can have on your wine bottles instead of having the cork and perfect" suit" coasters to have drinks placed on instead of your tables that can be found on our site. You do not want to over do the theme but you want to have a few accents. I have also displayed a table concept in red, black and white you can do that is trendy and modern.
Finally, you can run to a game store or a toy store where you will find casino chips and cards. I am sure everyone knows how to play poker and black jack or Texas hold'em. If not, it will be a great time to show your friends how too so the next time you do go to the casino it will be that much more fun!
