Pony pals a big hit with new riders

Children acquired a kick outside of creating some new four-legged buddies.

A bunch of 5 to 11-year-olds went to Ullenwood stables for pony-riding lessons set on by Cheltenham Borough Council.

There was loads of excitement because the youthful riders saddled up and learned the way to trot around a schooling ring.

They also had a chance to groom the animals and muck out the stables afterwards.

Dave Aston, from the council's engage in growth workforce, explained: "It was a huge accomplishment. The kids liked it pony Pal stables.

"The working day was section of our summer program of pursuits by which we put on different things to help keep little ones active all through the school vacations.

"It was terrific as several of them had in no way ridden just before."
