Leukemia is a disease of the bone marrow and blood that's known to influence normal blood cell production. Normal blood cells have a small amount of life and they need to be continually replaced by fresh, young cells to transport on their task. There's a of cell within the bone marrow (stem cell) that develops in to the type of blood cells that your body needs. In normal situation, these stem cells develop either into red blood cells, white blood cells or platelets, into a controlled way.
