Electronic Cigarette Issues You May Not Have Known About E Cigs

It's finally time to quit smoking. Cigarette addictions are not only costing your health, but the cost of a pack of smokes is going through the roof, and it is just too inconvenient to be a smoker now. Many major cities have already placed a ban on smoking in restaurants, bars, and even near building entrances, and other cities are starting to catch on. As a result, when you want to have a smoke, you have to leave your beer behind and bundle up in the cold and the rain, as you go to a secluded area that looks like a bunch of disease ridden people being exiled.
I have been addicted to smoking cigarettes for twenty years. I have constantly wanted to stop. To quit permanently. I have experimented with almost everything from hypnosis to the patch and the quitting never never lasted. Right now, because of the electronic cigarette I don't have to stop smoking. Right now there is absolutely no need .
The effect that nicotine has on the insulin in your blood puts your body under constant stress. Every forty five minutes or so, when you smoke, the nicotine in your body blocks the release of insulin (this is the appetite suppressant effect).
Finally, I allowed the virginvapor.com to pique my interest. Why not get my nicotine and oral fixation without all of the smoke and chemicals?! The first puff was horrible. This was no cigarette! How could anyone smoke this stuff? I wanted my 27's back, that was a real cigarette! I had just bought the started kit of NJoy; complete with two batteries (the cigarette looking part), the vaporizer, battery charger, and 5 cartridges, though much to my chagrin, NJoy quit selling flavored cartridges, so this left me with nothing but the regular, nicotine cartridges.
If consumed in even greater amounts, it acts as a poison. It basically raises blood pressure and causes the contraction of blood vessels. It also causes the release of the body's store of cholesterol, increasing the risk of heart disease.
An excellent point came up in the comments for this hub. Ann Nonymous mentioned forming good habits. This is truly the best way to quit any bad habit, to replace it with a good habit. Finding something new to do with your hands, or snacking on crisp vegetables or fruit slices is an example of forming a new good habit. If you have decided to quit, what new good habit would you like to cultivate? Will an apple a day really keep the Doctor away? Maybe you can find out!
